North Carolina Juvenile Officers Association

Dear Businesses and Friends,

I would like to take a few minutes to ask your support for the officers of your community that work protecting our juvenile citizens.  The 45th Annual North Carolina Juvenile Officer’s Association Conference will be held at the Beaufort Hotel located at Beaufort, NC starting Sunday, June 16, 2019 and concluding on Friday, June 21, 2019.

This year’s NCJOA conference will be filled with valuable information and training on many of the latest topics pertaining to the investigation of juveniles crimes and procedures

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Lisa Mayhew of the Office of the NC State Medical Examiner.   She brings over 20 years experience in child abuse and death investigation expertise.  Billy Lassiter from the NC Dept. of Justice/ Division of Juvenile Justice will join us again this year to discuss the upcoming legislation that will "raise the age" for juveniles from 16 to 18 years old.  And Monty Edge, the President of Active Threat Solutions, will be a vendor/trainer with life-saving medical field equipment.  These are essential tools to compliment the proven methods of NCSHP Trooper Robert Robertson, Jr. with his winning mindset and tactical awareness in "Surviving the First 3 Seconds."

This year’s training conference is again packed with up-to-date, hot off the press, excellent professional training that every officer dealing with juvenile issues should attend. These classes will aid in the investigative process needed in forming the strongest court cases to convict and put away anyone who hurts our juvenile citizens, our future, or our kids.

Again, I ask for your support in any way of this worthy cause.  We can use any donations for door prizes or even money for conference instructional expenses.  The NC Juvenile Officer’s Association is a non-profit 501(c)(6).

Thank you for your generosity.
